What are Member Units?

A Member Unit is a virtual membership product sold by The African Village Limited, UK. The benefits of owning Member Units include: lifetime Royalty Membership of The African Village Community, discounts on selected product offerings and events, and a non-exclusive right to earn a royalty in the form of a shared percentage of the net profits made from the operations of The African Village.

How many Member Units are there?

There are 5 million Member Units.

How much does a Member Unit cost?

Each Member Unit costs £100 (plus 20% VAT where applicable).

How does earning a Royalty work?

At the end of every profitable financial year, the Board of Directors will exercise their discretion to declare a percentage of the profits as a royalty, to be shared across all Member Units. The more Member Units a person has, the more they earn.

Is there a limit to the number of Member Units I can buy?

There is no limit to the number of Member Units you can buy as long as there is stock. You can however only buy a maximum of 50 Member Units per each online transaction.

Am I supposed to buy Member Units each time I’m to renew my membership?

Membership with the African Village Community is for a lifetime and there are no renewal fees.

Do I need to buy Member Units right now?

You should acquire your Member Units now so that you don't miss out. The number of available Member Units is fixed, and once they're gone, the door to this opportunity will close. Member Units are being scooped up as you read this, so it's best to act promptly to secure yours.

Can I purchase Member Units on behalf of another person?
