We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, bonded labour, child labour, and all forms of exploitation. These practices have no place within our organisation or in the relationships we build with partners, suppliers, contractors, volunteers, or other organisations.
Although The African Village Limited is not currently required to publish a Modern Slavery Statement under the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, we have chosen to do so voluntarily because ethical conduct forms an integral part of our values and governance.

As The African Village develops, we expect our partners, suppliers, contractors, consultants, and service providers to operate in accordance with applicable laws and recognised ethical standards.
Where appropriate, we may seek assurances that organisations working with us have policies and practices designed to prevent modern slavery and exploitative labour practices within their own operations.
REPORTING CONCERNS
We encourage anyone who becomes aware of suspected modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, or other serious ethical concerns relating to The African Village or its activities to report those concerns to us.
All concerns will be considered seriously and, where appropriate, investigated in accordance with applicable laws and our internal procedures.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
As The African Village grows, we will continue to review and strengthen our policies, procedures, and governance arrangements to support ethical conduct and responsible organisational practices.
We recognise that preventing exploitation requires ongoing vigilance, collaboration, and a shared commitment to protecting the dignity and rights of every individual.
